Today was a full day of touring starting with the Ile de la Cite.  On the island we explored The Cathedral of Notre Dame (built 1163), Louis IX's Sainte-Chappelle (built 1245) and learned about the Conciergerie prison, where Marie Antionette awaited execution.  For lunch we had free time to walk across to the Left Bank and explore the Latin Quarter.  In the afternoon we visited the Cluny National Museum of the Middle Ages.  Today's special moment was the entire group singing Happy Birthday to me in French (thanks to Marie!) outside the entrance of Notre Dame.
